Hold Space / Button A, then press left or right for a side sway or down for a back sway. Quickly tapping dodge also performs a back sway.
How to Sway Dodge
Sway is server-authoritative and works while you are in combat stance.
Mobile
Use the SWAY button. Swipe left or right for a side sway; tap or swipe down for a back sway.
Which direction?
Back sway is the safer option and avoids many head and torso attacks. Side sway is better when you want to stay close enough to counterattack.
